Get the app by downloading it here or asking it from your school. You will get it in a USB OTG device that includes the installation file and the modules.
Install the App
Insert the USB OTG device to your phone/tablet and browse using File Manager. Install the file to your phone (Enable installation from other sources).
Copy the Modules
Copy the modules to your device using the File Manager. Save it into the Downloads Folder.
Open the App
Open the app from your phone. Look for the icon and the DepEd Aklan MAC application name.
Scan the QR Code
Click the Scan a MAC button from the app and scan the QR code provided by your school.
Read your Learning Resource
You can now read your learning resource from your device.
Troubleshooting
What devices are accepted to use the app?
The DepEd Aklan MAC works with any Android-enabled device. It can be a phone or a tablet. The Android version must be at least 5.0 (Lollipop) and up.
My device doesn't support OTG
There are some devices that don't support OTG (On The Go drive). You can't access the installation file and the modules through the OTG, but you may ask the school/teacher to copy the file to your phone. Just bring the charger cable to your school so they can access your phone through their computer.
The modules don't appear when I scan a MAC
The modules/LRs should be placed inside the Downloads/LR folder of your device. Check the path using the File Manager of your device. If the problem persists, try other MACs. If the resource appears, there may be a problem with the QR Code given by the school.
